Studio ONS is a multidisciplinary design studio founded by Nathalie Schellekens, working at the intersection of product design, interior design and brand identity. After her graduation from the Design Academy Eindhoven, it has grown into a creative studio recognized for its distinctive approach:
creating meaningful products, furniture, interiors, and experiences.
Over the years, Studio ONS has become known for clear, timeless design with a playful character. Products, interiors, and visual identities evolve into coherent concepts that are both functional and emotionally engaging.
The studio collaborates with (inter)national brands and companies, the hospitality industry, and private clients who value quality, sustainability, and an unmistakable identity.
For Studio ONS, good design is timeless, functional, and thoughtful, yet always with a distinctive twist that adds character and sparks curiosity. We don't believe in fast trends or a throwaway culture, but in designs meant to be cherished, kept, and passed on to next generations. Every design must create value, for a person, a space, a brand, or an experience, never simply fill it.
About Nathalie
For Nathalie, design has always been part of her life, like a way of living. From an early age she was always creating, from jewelry and graphic logo's to small pieces of furniture, always driven by curiosity to discover new techniques.
Just as naturally, she was entrepreneurial: selling her creations to friends or at local markets, always eager to try new things.
That spirit of exploration and curiosity has never left her, from working alongside craftspeople in Vietnam during her internship for Haans, to pushing new creative directions today.
This mindset extends into her daily life. Design, experimentation and curiosity are woven through everything she does, from her love for cooking and (flower) gardening to her passion for collecting. Her world is filled with characterful and iconic objects, from timeless design classics to vintage cars and caravans,
each with a story, each with a soul.

Product Design
With a strong foundation in product design, Studio ONS is driven by a fascination for materials, techniques, and production processes. Each design is a search for balance between form, functionality, a hint to familiarity and fun.
Collaborations with skilled craftsmen and manufacturers are essential. Through prototyping and experimentation, products take shape that are not only practical and durable but also emotionally valuable with special attention to the smallest details and the context of the design.
Spatial Design
Studio ONS designs interiors as experiences where layout, objects, proportion, material, and color come together in spaces that feel natural yet surprising.
Where the architect defines the structure of a building, Studio ONS gives a space its unique identity and soul. Interiors are never conceived as mere decoration, but as meaningful environments that reflect the people who inhabit them or the brand they represent.
Art Direction & Identity
Acting as a creative partner, Studio ONS guides brands in their visual and spatial positioning by helping brands define direction, make choices, and build consistent identities. From collections and exhibitions to storytelling and visual communication, always in alignment with the brand’s essence.
